About the event
Coffee at the Kickback (CKB) is a creative event collective curating intimate listening experiences in local cafés and community spaces. Rooted in sound, culture, and care, CKB creates environments where people can gather, listen, and feel connected.
On Sunday, February 15th, from 5:00–8:00 PM, Coffee at the Kickback is partnering with the Syracuse City School District HBCU Fundraiser Committee to host an evening centered on community, listening, and collective support. The gathering will take place at The Society in downtown Syracuse and will feature live sets from local DJs shaping the city’s sound.
This event supports the Syracuse City School District’s Lincoln Middle School, which is organizing a transformative field trip for 34 eighth-grade students to visit several Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in Spring 2026.
